    You're on Windows?

Install BSD Subsytem and OpenSSH from Installer (under System).

Then go to Settings and go to the Wi-Fi page. Now tap the arrow next to the network you're connected to (you have to be connected to a network). Now copy or memorize the IP address.

    Download Putty onto your Computer.

    Server: IP address from device
    login:root
    password:alpine (unless you're on before 1.1.3 [I think] then it's dottie)
    connection type: sftp
port I left it at 22.

Now connect. It will take a while the first time. Accept the host key pop-up.

Now you can navigate your device. Now you can go to /Applications.
