Thread: gpSPhone Not Saving

    Default gpSPhone Not Saving
I only have 1 ROM for gpSPhone and it is Pokemon Ruby. When I was using gpSPhone it would save and worked perfect on 1.1.1, now since I have updated to 1.1.4 it does not save for some reason...

How do I be fixing this?

    If you are on 1.1.3/1.1.4:

    1. Open up an SFTP Client such as WinSCP and connect to your iPhone/iPod Touch
    2. Navigate to /private/var/mobile/Media
    3. Change the permissions of the ROMs folder to 0755 if they arent that already
    4. Open the ROMs folder
    5. Change the permissions of the GBA folder to 0777
    6. Open the GBA folder
    7. Change the permissions of your ROM(s) to 0777
    8. You're done!! Try saving in the middle of playing your ROM and seeing if it works.

If this method works, thank me!!

    Thanks a ton!

It only works if you have auto save on and it doesn't overwrite the old file but that's beside the point, I can save now, thanks!

    Yes it will.

    chown -R mobile var/mobile/Media/ROMs
    will do it anyway.

as in I could save a pokemon game ingame, shut off the rom, turn it back on, and the save file would still be there??
