    Hello,

I have had many issues with MyWi since 4.7.7 was released. I had no problems with 4.6. I have emailed the creator and he said that he was looking into it. Please email him and perhaps he will be more proactive in coming up with a fix...

kenmac: Thanks for the details. Are you connecting via USB ?? (that's en1).
Send iPhone System Log: Via any Intelliborn App -> Click Help / FAQs/ Support -> Scroll to bottom and click on red text at bottom.

I have the same issues. I will try to describe the problem more precisely. Hope that helps...

    initial situation:

    iPhone 3G
    iOS 4.1
    CF with Snowbreeze 2.0.2
    manual hacktivation
    Unlock with ultrasn0w 1.1-1
Backup restored with iTunes (no apps synched)
    complete updated cydia
MyWi 4.8.3 (purchased yesterday for 20$) installed and rebooted

    1. If 3G and Wifi are enabled/configured before I start MyWi, tethering with iPad works fine:

    2. When I switch off tethering and he has cleaned up, no connection works (3g, wifi, tethering) until I reboot. WiFi stays connected to my MyWi-SSID after closing MyWi-App.

ifconfig output looks like this (tethering switch off, MyWi-App closed)

    3. If Wifi is just disabled, tethering also doesn't work. When I switch tethering on, he fails and tries to clean up. The switch slides back to "0". Even no connection works until reboot.

    4. If I reboot while wifi is disabled, wifi and tethering doesn't work after reboot. But 3G works!

If I reboot while wifi is activated and not connected to my MyWi-SSID, everything is fine after reboot.

Dear developers, please help us! :-)

I have MyWi v4.6 installed on an iPhone 4 - using wep wifi tethering. I only started noticing this with the 4.0.1 update.

    Any ideas to fix it?
I have same problem with svenz, anyone here willing to help please..

After you've attempted to connect to a WiFi access point, and the problem occurs, take a look at the en1 interface, and you'll see that it's still displaying the local WiFi routing address (192.168.21.1):

    KenMac-i4:~ root# ifconfig en1
    en1: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,SMART,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULT ICAST> mtu 1500
    inet 192.168.21.1 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.21.255
    ether 0a:0b:ad:0b:ab:e0
when I do ifconfig en1, I got this message:
    Code:
    andych-iphone:~ root# ifconfig en1
    en1: flags=8822<BROADCAST,SMART,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
            ether 00:00:00:00:00:00
    andych-iphone:~ root#
Are you sure en1 is made by MyWi? If so, then all we have to do is remove en1 device, correct?
