    Default Upgrade or New account
My buddy works for AT&T at the mobility center. I'm not sure if this is "new" news, but I figure it of some intrest.

Any AT&T customer that upgraded or opened a new account to a 3Gs from 5-7-2010 to 6-8-2010 will recieve a free iPhone 4 in exchange for thier 3Gs + all accesories!

That would be me and 1 other line on my account. Hope you guys enjoy!

P.S. DON'T forget to restore jailbreakers!!!

That seems unlikely - and highly generous of them if true!
    Can anyone else confirm this?

Ok, so I checked with at&t. They said to me...

3Gs phones purchased from 5-7 to 5-20 will have the return policy extended to 6-21. 10% restocking fees will apply. 3Gs phones purchased 5-21 to 6-7 will still be in 30 day return policy.

So basically it turns out that you'll pay $20 to return your 3Gs (bought 5-7 to 6-7) and exchange it for the new iPhone 4.

I have no idea about Apple orders done during this time frame.

So it looks like you may be without your iPhone 3Gs for @ 3 days but you get the new one with same data plans!

What about the data plan? Do you get stuck with the new one?

I was told no. You can keep the $30 unlimited plan.
