Default Apple Included Among The Top 50 'Green' Brands

Apple is going green and getting noticed for it.

On the heels of its recently published 2015 Environmental Responsibility Report, Apple has been recognized among the top 50 green brands, according to Forbes.

"While many corporations seem to be looking to find ways to do business in a sustainable way, of the 550 brands included in this year’s Customer Loyalty Engagement Index, a survey of 36,000 men and women, 18-65 years of age, from the 9 U.S. Census Regions," explains Forbes contributor Robert Passikoff, noting that the top-50 brands on this list have been deemed "authentically and resolutely green" by the only people that matter -- their own customers.

Ranked alphabetically and not by how "green" they are, Apple is joined on the list by such fellow tech heavyweights as Amazon, Dell, and Samsung. To check out the full list of the 50 most environmentally responsible brands, click here.

……."authentically and resolutely green" by the only people that matter -- their own customers.
Eh? How the hell do they know?
Do they see the hundreds of kilowatts worth of redundancy they have in their data centres or take into account the waste created when you throw away an entire logic board because you can’t replace the soldered in RAM?

    What a crock.
