On Thursday, Apple released an update to OS X Yosemite 10.10.3. Notably, OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 was just released about a week ago to the public with an all-new Photos application for OS X, new Emojis, and improvements to Google Account sign-ins.

This supplemental update is recommended for all users to prevent an issue with starting certain affected machines up.

Apple attributes the reasoning of certain machines not starting up to an issue with video drivers that could cause issues when attempting to start a machine up after using applications that capture video.

The update can be found under the Updates tab in the Mac App Store application on your OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 machine. A restart is required to install the software.
