We are now just 10 days away from Apple Watch preorders and as we get closer and closer to the launch of the smartwatch, more developers are starting to release their Apple Watch compatible apps. It has been noted that popular mobile-app-based transportation network Uber has released a new iPhone app update as well as its Apple Watch app. Users will be able check the driver progress and request for rides in just one action with the app.

The New York Times will also be releasing ‘one sentence stories' for the Apple Watch with headlines and emoji-driven recipes. Users will receive breaking news on their wearable devices by getting push notifications and stories can be saved to read later on bigger devices. Over the weekend, Flipboard updated its app for Apple Watch support as well. It was noted that the wearable device will show the top ten personalized stories.

This is just the beginning of all the apps getting rolled out, we’re sure in the upcoming weeks there will be a ton more.
