The highly anticipated Steve Jobs biography ‘Becoming Steve Jobs’ was finally released on Tuesday and when launched, topped the Number 1 chart on Amazon’s Rich & Famous Biographies list. The biography was co-authored by Brent Schlender, a tech journalist and executive editor of the Fast Company, Rick Tetzeli. ‘Becoming Steve Jobs’ is supposedly a look into Jobs’ personal life, how he lived, and who he really was. Apparently majority of the biography was from notes Schlender had on the previous Apple CEO. According to Steve Dowling, an Apple representative,

We decided to participate in Brent and Rick's book because of Brent's long relationship with Steve, which gave him a unique perspective on Steve's life. The book captures Steve better than anything else we've seen, and we are happy we decided to participate.
The book includes interviews, the final years of Jobs, and what he meant to others. Even current Apple CEO Tim Cook agreed to partake in the biography, after he said Walter Isaacson’s biography on Jobs was a “disservice.” Those who are interested in reading the book can purchase it for $11.99 on the Kindle, $12.99 from the iBookstore, or a physical copy for $19.83 (hardcover)/ $22.73 (paperback) on Amazon.
