Default T-Mobile Announces New Plans at 2015 Un-Carrier Event

We reported just a few days ago that U.S. mobile carrier T-Mobile will be releasing a new Data Stashing policy for prepaid voice customers who have a qualifying Simple Choice Plan. Now the mobile company has announced some new initiatives at the recent Un-carrier event. Apparently, the initiatives include new pricing and plans for businesses, as well as a promise to not increase pricing. The most interesting and eye catching initiative is the company’s will to pay for customer’s bills who are locked into plans with other mobile carriers currently, the catch is having to switch over to T-Mobile.

The mobile company will guarantee all Simple Choice plan customers to not worry about price increases, as long as they continue staying with the company with qualifying plans. The carrier also guarantees customers who have unlimited 4G LTE data to not worry about price increases for at least two years. The guarantee will begin on March 22nd for all customers who qualify.

Consumers and businesses alike can now rest assured that their Simple Choice rate plan won’t go up as long as they’re a T-Mobile customer and keep their plan − and even customers with unlimited 4G LTE will lock in their rates for a minimum of two years.
T-Mobile also announced a new ‘Carrier Freedom’ initiative where they will pay up to $650 in outstanding payments for those using other carriers and looking to switch to T-Mobile. They previously noted already that they would be paying for any early termination fees for consumers looking to switch carriers, and now they will be paying up to an additional $650 to take you out of a lease or upgrade program from another carrier.

On the business side of things, the company will be offering new plans and better pricing when compared to other carriers like Verizon and AT&T. Apparently the newly announced plans will save families approximately $875 over the course of two years.

Will you be making the switch? Lets us know in the comments below.
