For just under two weeks, Apple has allowed all users, whether they had an iOS device/Mac or not, to use the iWork for iCloud suite software on the iCloud Beta Web site for free. All the user needed to do was create an Apple ID to log in with.

On Thursday, Apple is moving this ability over to the main non-beta iCloud Web page, meaning that it's no longer in beta. The change means that anyone can create an Apple ID and log into iCloud to use the iWork for iCloud software without the need to own an iOS device or a Mac to do so.

In addition to opening up the company's user base opportunities, this also gives Apple a way to compete with competing cross-platform services such as Google Docs and Microsoft Office.

To check out the new feature, you can head over to the iCloud Web site at this link and log in or create an Apple ID to log in with.
