It has been reported that the SoHo Apple Store is hosting special discussions on creativity, digital media, and style in-store as an extension of New York’s Fashion Week, unofficially. The event started on Monday and will go through Thursday of this week. Apple’s SoHo store has previously hosted talks from music artists, actors, and directors, so it is not the first time this location will be hosting something big.

Just yesterday, Carol Him and Humberto Leon, cofounders of website Opening Ceremony talked about style, inspiration, and culture with Natasha Lyonne. Artist Katie Rodgers drew live sketches of Valentia Kova being worn by models. Photographer Ken Schles also showed East Village pictures back in the 1980s. Other artists making an appearance during the week include Aurelie Popper and Jade Harwood, cofounders of Wool and the Gang.

Wool and the Gang focuses primarily on knitted clothing and hires knitters to hand make original designs. They are scheduled to speak on Thursday, the last day of the unofficial fashion event being hosted at Apple SoHo. If you are interested in attending any of the final events, make sure to reserve your spot on the Apple SoHo website.
