Default Tim Cook and Other Apple Exec's Earnings for 2014 Revealed

It has been recently revealed that Apple CEO Tim Cook received a compensation of more than $9.22 million last year, which was doubled what he received in 2013. $1.75 million went to Cook’s salary and $6.7 million were non-equity incentives. According to the document, Cook paid out almost $57,000 in vacation cash and had approximately $700,00 in security expenses. However, in 2013 Cook’s salary was $1.4 million and with incentives it totaled to $4.3 million.

The document also noted that last year Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s SVP of Retail was given $73.35 million with $70 million coming from stock awards. Eddy Cue, Apple’s head of software and services received $24.45 million in 2014 with $20 million from stock awards. Jeff Williams, Apple’s SVP of Operations also earned $24.4 million with the same stock award amount as Eddy Cue. Luca Maestri, Apple CFO earned about $14 million with $11.34 million coming from stock awards.

It definitely seems like the more business the company brings in, the more money everyone gets to take home at the end of the year. Take a look at the document above to see the numbers for yourself.

Income inequality will soon come to a head. No matter what myths are perpetuated at Davos (i.e. "as long as we keep the super rich super wealthy, everyone will benefit" and "poor people are getting richer") , people are starting to wake up. I bet you could take an average run of the mill developer and place him in Tim Cook's position, and that developer would do just as good a job running the company.

As Nick Hanauer realizes - the pitchforks are coming (look up his TED talk, well worth a watch).
