We reported a few days ago that Apple would be releasing their first Beats headphones soon, since acquiring the company earlier this year. That soon is today- the Beats Solo2 Wireless Headphones with Bluetooth connectivity has been announced and revealed by Beats. The Solo2 is currently priced at $199.95 and the new upgraded model will be retailing at $299.95. Even though it was revealed today, the headphones won’t be available until later this month. It will come in a variety of colors including black, red, blue, and white. According to BusinessWire,

"We’re taking the most popular headphone in the world and adding wireless Bluetooth functionality to it,” said Beats President Luke Wood. “The Solo2 is already a world-class headphone much lauded for its acoustics, and now it joins our growing family of successful wireless products."

Solo2 Wireless offers the same dynamic sound and streamlined design as Solo2, but with the added benefit of wireless capabilities. With its Bluetooth technology, Solo2 Wireless can move freely for up to 30 feet from your audio device. Take phone calls, skip songs, and change the volume using the “b” button and volume buttons on the ear cup. Its rechargeable battery allows you to enjoy up to 12 hours of wireless playback. Not charged? Not a problem. Just plug in the provided RemoteTalkTM cable and enjoy your music.
Along with the four colors mentioned, Beats will be releasing an additional five colors, called the “Royal Edition” in time for the holiday season. Those additional five colors are Blush Rose, Imperial Violet, Hunter Green, Sapphire Blue, and Stone Grey. The new headphones are set to go up to 12 hours of wireless playback and when the battery is done, you will be able to listen to music with the ‘RemoteTalk’ cable. If you are interested in the new wireless Bluetooth edition of the headphones, we’d suggest going over to Beats.com and signing up for the latest news. Also, if you are subscribed to Apple, you should also be receiving news upon release.
