With Christian Bale set to play Steve Jobs in the forthcoming Aaron Sorkin-penned biopic about the famed Apple CEO, word came today that a Robin has been picked to join Batman. In this case, Christian Bale's version of Steve Jobs will be partnered with Seth Rogen's version of Steve Wozniak.

For now, there are no official comments regarding the casting of Rogen as the "other Steve" who co-founded Apple, but Variety says the "Superbad" star is definitely on board to play the man who helped Jobs bring Apple and its initial products to life.

Sorkin, who also penned the Facebook drama “The Social Network,” has publicly said the movie will be divided into three long scenes, each taking place backstage before one of Apple’s famous product launches.
Although the casting of a predominantly comedic actor in the role of Woz may seem like a stretch for a film that already has Oscar-buzz, Rogen's former "Superbad" co-star Jonah Hill is now a two-time Oscar nominated actor who has secured a foothold as more than just a "silly" performer in raunchy comedic flicks. Looks like Rogen may be shooting for the same trajectory with his career.
