Three days ago, Apple seeded OS X Yosemite 10.10 GM Release Candidate 2.0 to developers for testing; it came about a week after the first GM. On Thursday, Apple has seeded a third candidate of OS X Yosemite 10.10 to developers for testing purposes.

OS X Yosemite 10.10 GM Release Candidate 3.0 is available via the Mac App Store's Updates tab for those running any OS X developer preview or GM. It can also be accessed from the "Software Update" option under the  menu in the Menu Bar in Mac OS X.

The new GM includes additional bug fixes for the operating system to improve stability and overall responsiveness. The GM is the closest release that developers have to the public release, which is expected to be available some time this month.

With the upcoming Apple event on October 16th, it's likely that OS X Yosemite will be released to the public within the next couple of weeks. OS X Yosemite gives users a slew of new features, as well as a redesign for the user interface of the operating system.
