Default No Jobs for DiCaprio in Sorkin's Biopic

Leonardo DiCaprio is out of a Jobs. That's the official word today from The Hollywood Reporter, which indicates that the Titanic star will not, as previously rumored, play the lead role in a forthcoming biopic about the late Apple co-founder and tech visionary.

"The actor, who had been in talks with Sony to play the late Apple Computer co-founder for director Danny Boyle, has bowed out to instead shoot The Revenant," the report reads.

The untitled Jobs project is based on Walter Isaacson's book and was adapted for the screen by Aaron Sorkin.

So with DiCaprio out to play Steve Jobs, who may fill this larger than life role? According to the same report, other actors considered for the role include Christian Bale, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Bradley Cooper.

This film will be the second major studio biopic about Jobs since the Apple icon passed away three years ago. The first starred Ashton Kutcher as Jobs and was largely met with less than stellar reviews.

Matt Damon...really? Yikes! The good thing about Ashton was that he sort of resembled Jobs.

Christian Bale... not because he's the CEO Apple needs, but because he's the CEO Apple deserves. Hahahahaha.

I think Christian Bale would have been perfect. Method actor and he could look like him.

My vote goes to Peter Dinklage. Peter's entrance into a apple board room would easily generate the aura Steve used to make. Not to mention the speech where he would tell the world nobody wants a bigger phone. EPIC!
