Default Apple Executive Greg Joswiak to Appear On Stage at Upcoming Code/Mobile Conference

Apple Vice President, Greg Joswiak, is said to be appearing on stage at the upcoming Code/Mobile conference in late October. He’s set to discuss the company’s fall 2014 lineup including the forthcoming iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Joswiak’s planned appearance on October 27th and October 28th was announced recently by the folks over at Re/code who also noted that he isn’t known for making public appearance on behalf of Apple.

Joswiak has been taking a more important role at Apple under Cook’s leadership as he previously made an appearance with Ferrari to introduce the Apple’s new Carplay feature in action. Typically, Joswiak is better known for the work he puts in behind the scenes including overseeing both product marketing and management for Apple’s iPhone lineup.

It isn’t too much of a surprise to see Joswiak from Apple speaking at the conference though because Apple has usually had quite a strong relationship with the folks over at Re/code whose team formerly comprised AllThingsD. Both Eddy Cue and Jimmy Iovine were interviewed at the publication’s Code Conference earlier this year where they spoke about Apple’s deal with Beats. Furthermore, many of the more reliable leaks about Apple’s future product plans come through Re/code including the more recent facts of Apple holding an event on September 9th and the information about the announcement of both an iPhone 6 and an Apple Watch that wouldn’t ship until early next year.
