Many cities and locations have been added to Apple’s 3D Maps Flyover feature in iOS this year. Two new locations have recently been added and they are Yosemite National Park, California and Wellington, New Zealand. There are already two other New Zealand locations including Christchurch and Auckland. Users can zoom in on landmarks and buildings as well as take a 3D look around the areas. Apple is getting ready to release its redesigned Mac operating system, OS X Yosemite, which makes the Flyover feature for Yosemite National Park is a notable one.

The Cupertino-based company provides a total of 90 plus cities and parks worldwide on the Flyover feature. Developer Preview 6 of OS X 10.10 Yosemite was recently released by Apple, with the addition of many photos of Yosemite National Park and new system wallpapers. The new OS X is expected to launch sometime later this year. Are you looking forward to OS X Yosemite? Let us know in the comments below.
