After one month of solid beta testing, developer Silvio Rizzi has finally released his highly popular Reeder 2 RSS Client for Mac OS X in the Mac App Store. The public beta of Reeder 2 was free for users to try out, but the final version in the Mac App Store will set you back $9.99 to snag a copy. Reeder 2 has been available on iOS 7 for quite some time.

Although Google Reader shut down, Reeder 2 works off of other RSS feed service options, such as the following:

- Safari Reading List
- QUOTE.fm Read
- Buffer
- Readability
- Instapaper
- Pocket
- Evernote
- MarsEdit
- Pinboard
- Delicious
- App.net
- Twitter
- Facebook
- Messages
- Mail
- Local RSS

It's worth mentioning that Reeder 2 offers features like themes for options in appearance, gestures for ease of control, and customizable shortcuts so that you can get to things faster. Reeder 2 is one of the more beautiful ways to see all of your news and RSS feeds all in one place without having to search for them yourself.

If you're interested in giving the application a shot, it's available in the Mac App Store for $9.99 at this link. It's not available for Windows or other desktop operating systems.
