Wednesday brought with it a host of goodies for developers.

For starters, this afternoon Apple provided devs with the latest beta build of its forthcoming OS X 10.9.3 update.

In the last beta release, Apple asked testers to focus on graphics drivers, Safari, Mail and Contacts, and Calendar syncing over USB in iTunes. The same is largely true once again with today's release of beta build 13D61 to developers.

As we observed last week, given the short duration between the latest releases and the scant tweaks and areas of concern that persist, it could be a strong indication that 10.9.3 will be ready for the general public very soon.

Also on Wednesday, Apple gave us Safari 7.0.4 Seed 1. which serves up minor mods mostly with regard to issues pertinent to OS X compatibility that have emerged as 10.9.3 is readied.

Mavericks beta build 13D61 and Safari 7.0.4 Seed 1 are available now (to devs in the Beta Seed Program and through the Developer Portal or Software Update).
