Following yesterday's release of iOS 7.1 to the public, which jailbreakers should stay away from by the way, Apple has released a revised version of its Xcode development tools for Mac OS X and iOS dubbed version 5.1.

The updated development tools come with support for iOS 7.1 and allow developers to make their applications compatible with iOS 7.1 and its new features where necessary.

Updated applications should be submitted to the App Store as soon as possible.

Users will find the updated version of Xcode in the Mac App Store's Updates tab for free if they're already using the tools, or you can download the latest version of Xcode for free from this Mac App Store link.
