Default Apple Releases iCloud Control Panel 3.1 for Windows Users With Support for Windows 8.1

Wednesday afternoon, Apple released an update for its iCloud Control Panel for Windows users, bringing the version number up to 3.1. The iCloud Control Panel allows Windows users to view and manage different aspects of their iCloud account from their Windows machine, including e-mails, bookmarks, photos, and more, as well as see the available storage space.

Wednesday’s update adds full support for Microsoft’s new Windows 8.1 operating system and makes it so that signing into the iCloud Control Panel automatically signs you into Microsoft Outlook.

To grab the update, you can use Apple's Apple Software Update application from the Start Menu, or you can manually download the update. If you would rather manually download and install the update yourself, you can follow the download link below:

The update is not for Mac users.

Windows 8 is by far the worst operating system Microsoft has ever made. Windows 7 was probably their best. Windows 7 wasn't that bad to use, it's not osx or anything but the UI stay consistent with past versions.

Yea, I didn't like OS X at first either. But after I spent a few weeks on it I loved using it.

It's understandable that you would be biased to OS X, but show some respect. You're being a bully. You're no worse than Windows users.

Who said I didn't like osx? I loved it the moment I opened up my Mac for the first time 5 years ago. All I'm saying is that windows 7 is a good operating system and windows 8 is a step in the wrong direction.
