No that what a RC is, a GM is the final build.

Not always. There have been instances where the GM got updates too before release. iOS 4.2 is an example of that. As well as Xcode 4.x.

I went to the shop again today and the lady told me that it will release in seven days or under

But she was an Apple specialist working for Apple. I asked her about a new MacBook Air as well but she said there's rumours and that it may be too soon because of the recent October refresh

In the EU companies must tell retailers a fortnight in advanced the release date of products.

There are no retailers for Lion though. It's 100% delivered through the Mac App Store

I have been using the GM build and here are the bugs i have encountered.
    - The login page images are blurry sometimes and have to be reapplied in settings to fix (sometimes it just doesn't work)
-mission control gets cuttered which shouldn't be happening
    -expose doesn't work anymore
-full screen apps sometimes get stuck in full screen but very rarely (only happened twice to me so far)
Hopefully these get fixed before final build or there will be delays.

    to this i will add:
    safari:
    - hidden scroll bars don't always appear on mouse over
    - page up and page down keys fail to work after a period of time, have to restart safari
    - bug that keeps zoom in and zoom out from working properly

    mail:
    - same as safari with the hidden scroll bars not appearing

    widgets:
    - no longer appear over darkened background but instead swipe to a new page with no transparency... i kind of liked using the calculator while still seeing the numbers i needed to calculate beneath.

    auto-save:
    - watch out. an unsaved something something that you may never want to see again, or have anyone else see, automatically pops open the next time the application is opened if you had quit the app before saving/closing the document in question. i'm looking at you Preview.

    - the visual gymnastics involved with accessing a previous version of an auto-saved document are clever, but clumsy and lumbering... on a 1st gen mac pro at least. not snappy. at all.

    quicktime player:
    - finally, FINALLY hides the controller when you've paused the movie.

    launchpad:
    - not something i want to click to access... this is one of what i'm guessing are many features that are aimed at and benefit trackpad users.

    i'll let it go there.
    -

Yes, it usually is if no big bugs are discovered.
