Default iTunes changes my hosts file...
Everytime I try to shift+restore my ipod 4g 4.3.5 with iTunes, my iTunes changes my host file....it changes it from

    Code:
    127.0.0.1 localhost
    74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
    TO
    Code:
     127.0.0.1 localhost
    #74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
    #74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
    127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com
So I am guessing that's the reason it wont let me downgrade...

ALSO...I was following http://www.limera1n.cc/2011/08/downg...hsh-blobs.html tutorial to downgrade...and when it says after you jailbreak with redsn0w, it should stop on recovery mode....well it didn't for me.. my ipod booted up as usual and I had a white cydia on my ipod...I went to check my firmware and it said it was 4.3.5...which is unusual since you cant get jailbreak 4.3.5, thats probably why cydia didnt open. Anyways, so yea, my ipod didnt stop on recovery mode

Simply, if you want to downgrade, you need to have saved shsh blobs for that specific firmware you want to downgrade to.
