Default iTouch 3G - Is it worth moving to 4.0?
At the moment I have an iPod Touch 3rd Gen. with firmware 3.1.3 and I am wondering wether it is worth upgrading to 4.0. I prefer to keep everything updated for bug fixes etc. But my main consern is if my iTouch will be laggy while running iOS 4.0. If anyone knows the answer, thanks

I am on 4.0 and the main reason I upgraded is to get the multitasking and iBooks, but to be honest alot of Cydia apps are incompatible with 4.0 like 5 icon rows, font swap doesn't work for system fonts. There is a genesis app that doesn't work, there are alot of stuff that is only for 3.13.

It is a personal preference. A itouch 3G should not be laggy under 4.0 but you will lose some cydia apps (if you jailbreak) although more and more and becoming compatible all the time.
