Default Question about Oktoprep upgrade 1.1.1. ---> 1.1.2
I'm at firmware 1.1.1 and I was going to use the oktoprep method to upgrade to 1.1.2 and I just want to know if I'll lose all of my installed applications during the upgrade or if they are spared. TIA for any replies.

You will lost them in the upgrade. You will need to download them again after you jailbreak.

so the best/safest way to upgrade from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 is to uninstall all the apps and
reset the default theme (if you're using summerboard) to be sure you won't be messing stuff up?

I'm also thinking of upgrading to 1.1.2 although i might wait a little longer untill 1.1.3 is out and we're able to upgrade to that firmware, because that one seems to have more appealing new functions/updates then the 1.1.2 firmware.

That is a good point. Does anyone that's upgraded to 1.1.2 from 1.1.1 see any difference in the operation/stability of the phone since upgrading or is there basically no point in upgrading?

I have noticed better stability and a little bit of a quicker response too...But the big feature for me was that the speaker no longer sounds like it's straining (scratching, distorted) when playing music or movies on a higher volume.
    1.1.2FW w/ 4.02.13_G Baseband. Rock Solid!
