Default iOS4 on iPod Touch 3.1.2: Error -9812. Please Help
    Ok so,

I had a jailbroken iPod Touch with 3.1.2 software. I backed up my iPod and was going through everything. It was all going well until I get to the point where I am actually updating my software to OS4. Everytime I connect to iTunes, a message pops up that says:

We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (-9812). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again.
I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be fantastic.

p.s. I know there is a possibility this could be better in another area; if so let me know.

    Default Error (-9812) [fixed]

I had the same prob 2 minutes ago!
My iPod touch was a 3.1.2 jailbroken with blackra1n RC3!!
I updated to iOS4 and i got the error (-9812) and my iPod was
stuck in connect to itunes screen with the battery on the top right hand!!
I tried to jailbreak it again!!
It went through the process till the part that the blackra1n says "runnig..."!
Then it stops there with the connect to itunes screen on my iPod!
I closed blackra1n and restarted my iPod and started Fine!!

P.S. I don't know if u can jailbrak it on the iOS4 firmware but at least it works like a new iPod touch!!

It worked for me!! Hope for u as well! zeroseven!
