Default Microsoft Updates PowerPoint With Support for Apple Watch So it Can be Used as a Remote

Microsoft has updated its PowerPoint application for the iOS platform on Tuesday with official support for the Apple Watch.

The new update makes it so Apple Watch users will be able to use their wrist-worn device to control the PowerPoint from afar like they would be able to with a remote.

Imagine giving a presentation in school or at work and simply being able to swipe through your slides on the big screen using your watch -- this is now possible as of version 1.8 of the PowerPoint application for iOS:

The update also adds bug fixes and performance improvements and is recommended for all users.

Existing users will find this update waiting for them under the Updates tab in the App Store application. If automatic updates is enabled on your device, it will be installed for you automatically if you have PowerPoint installed on your iOS device. Alternatively, you can follow this App Store link to download the latest version of PowerPoint for iOS.
