In this post, we're going to show you five great free games and applications for iOS from the App Store to help keep you the loop of some neat free games and applications and hey; feel free to download them and give them a try!

If you missed our previous Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS, you can head over to this link to read our April 9th edition.

    1. Smove

First on our list this week is an addicting game called Smove. With this game, you are playing as the white dot. You have to avoid all of the black dots, which are all coming from different directions. In the mean time, you need to collect the colored gems as they appear. If you are unable to dodge one of the black dots for some reason, it's game over. Your score is recorded based on the amount of gems that you are able to collect. Check it out!

You can download Smove for free from this App Store link.

    2. NYT Cooking

Second, for those of you looking for something tasty to try, the New York Times has a new application called NYT Cooking where you can try many different recipes. The application touts having more than 17,000 recipes available for your viewing and learning, and you can sort them based on your diet type, taste, and much more. It's free to try, so you will definitely want to check this out if you're into cooking and food.

You can download NYT Cooking for free from this App Store link.

    3. Rules!

Another game worth trying is Rules!, which is a puzzle game that uses your memory and patience against you. Now this game is actually $2.99 from the App Store, but if you read our post about how to get Rules! for free, you'll learn how you can get Rules! for free from Apple's Apple Store application for a limited time, so it technically is a free application for a limited time. In this game, you have to follow specific rules to clear the cards from the grid within a limited amount of time. If you don't follow the rules fast enough, the timer will run out and your score will reflect on what a terrible job you did. If you clear them all, your score will reflect on what a wonderful job you did. Check it out, and tease that brain of yours!

You can download NYT Cooking for $2.99 from this App Store link, or you can get it for free by visiting the Apple Store application, as we pointed out in our post here.

    4. Snapseed

Snapseed, the popular photo-editor by Google, recently received a major update with a complete application redesign and a slew of new features. For that reason, we're recommending you give this application a try for your photo-editing needs. It has filter options, transform tools, brush tools, spot repairing, image tuning, and much more. It's also completely free and can give you a true photo-editing experience on your mobile device, so check it out!

You can download Snapseed for free from this App Store link.

    5. Guncat

Last, but not least on our list this week, is a game called Guncat. In this game, you play as the cat with the gun and you have to take out the birds in the sky that are flying right above your head. You have to avoid hitting the black crows because they'll end your game for you immediately, but if you hit the birds carrying ammo boxes, you'll replenish your ammo supply and you'll be able to keep shooting. Check it out!

You can download Guncat for free from this App Store link.

Stay tuned for next week's five great free apps and game for iOS!
