While using the stock Twitter application for iOS, the only way to know if an account is a verified account when an interesting post shows up in your timeline is to tap on the account and view the profile in order to search for the blue verified icon.

It can be a lot of redundant work to have to go into the account to see if it's verified, just to go back to the Twitter timeline to continue what you were doing. That's why a new free jailbreak tweak called TwitVerified by iOS developer maximehip has hit the Cydia Store.

With this tweak installed, the Twitter verified icon appears next to the name of Twitter's verified accounts right from the Twitter timeline, as shown above. This way, you won't have to go to the user's profile to see if they're verified and you'll know you can trust the content of the Tweet right from your timeline without all the effort of having to check the account page.

The tweak doesn't have any options to configure, as it works automatically once you install it on your device. It only works with the stock Twitter application and not with third-party Twitter applications offered by other developers that aren't Twitter. Check it out!
