Default This New Jailbreak Tweak Allows for Custom Sounds When Plugging Your Device in

Every time you plug in your iOS device, do you hear that boring chime sound? You should, unless you have your iPhone on silent all the time. If you want to spice up that sound with something more entertaining, then a new free jailbreak tweak called Beep Beep by iOS developer Ziph0n is worth taking a peek at.

Once installed, this tweak adds a sound database to your Settings application where you can choose a new sound that will play when you plug your iOS device into a power source. This way, instead of a boring chime, you have something more personalized that stands out from all the rest of the iOS devices out there. There are, of course, a few additional non-sound related options that come with the tweak too.

The preferences pane is shown below:

From here, you can enable or disable custom charging sounds, pick the sound you want to use, enable or disable vibration, and enable or disable waking the display when you plug your device into a power source. The list of sounds you have to choose from is extensive; it includes the following:

    Pokemon:

I had the same issue. Finally worked. You can add your own custom sounds by dropping them in the directory and changing the file name.
