Just recently we reported that Instagram released a new app called Layout for Apple’s iPhone. Now, popular online shopping site Amazon has updated their Prime Music app for iOS, with the support for radio stations. Now, the updated app is a direct competitor to iTunes Radio and Pandora. Those who are Prime members have exclusive access to Prime stations, which have unlimited skips and no advertisements.

Streaming is now available on the iPhone and users can browse music by genre and artists. Similar to Pandora, users can rate the song with a ‘thumbs up’ or ‘thumbs down’ so the next song can be closer to something you prefer. Any song that is played can then be added instantly to the Prime library. The new look has been redesigned with a cleaner look, an easier navigation process, and better performance.

When users browse different music, the newly revamped app will also give their recommended playlists, songs, and albums. Those who are interested in Amazon’s free music app need a device running iOS 7 or later. Take a look at what's new with the app below:

What's New in Version 4.0
- Introducing ad-free Prime Stations with unlimited skips
