Default Incredibly Popular LockInfo Jailbreak Tweak Updated With Full iOS 8 Support

LockInfo, an incredibly popular Lock Screen-enhancing jailbreak tweak for iOS by iOS developer David Ashman has been updated with official iOS 8 support after being in beta for a few months.

LockInfo 8 is available right now in Cydia's ModMyi repository for $4.99, but it's a $1.99 upgrade for anyone that has already purchased a previous version of LockInfo in the past. Ashman has also reset the free trial periods for those interested in giving the new LockInfo 8 a trial run.

LockInfo 8 brings all of your notifications and Notification Center widgets together under one roof with no more separation of tabs in the Notification Center interface. It also works seamlessly with iOS' notification system so that you can clear all your notifications or interact with them from the LockInfo interface. Moreover, you can read and reply to your e-mails, view weather information with the built-in Forecast functionality, and even enjoy an improved calendar agenda widget, which are all bundled into the software too.

And as you can always expect from Ashman, LockInfo 8 looks great on your Lock Screen. It brings you a variety of features without compromising your user interface experience that we all know and love on iOS. Check it out!

I've installed this, and every time the iPhone 6+ boots, Lockinfo loads, and gets stuck just before loading the calendar. The lock screen is literally locked, and can't get out of it. Have to go to safe mode, and uninstall it. I've uninstalled and re-installed three times now. I can't make it work. Not sure what it's conflicting with, but it banging on something hard.

Thank you. I'll wait this one out awhile....

I`m not a programmer but a Gfx Designer, and I think this Lock Info needs a lift up for now. It has been the same GUI for years.

I was thinking maybe something li
The sliding Cards like Safari or like PassBook..

Each Notification new will be added infront...and they keep staking and on the top you will get the name of the App with a counting Batch.

Or something like this from passbook:

On the lockscreen you will get a icon that says Notification of whatever.. and when you click it, it will appear like this with the notifications available.... and from there you can select or scroll and also reply..

    What ya think?

I have it installed on my iPhone 6 running iOS 8.1.1 and it is working fine for me. I have had LockInfo on my for for years now, however, my lockscreen looks just like the notification center except on my screen on load up. I now just have it set just to display the clock and weather so I can see my lockscreen wallpaper. I just use the stock notification center for everything else. For me, I liked the look/GUI of the older version.

I too have useed LOCKINFO for years now and I also like the older look better. (I sometimes feel like the Devs think newer looks will sell better (I know sometimes it has to change because of the updates) but the fact is were here (JB) because we DONT LIKE APPLE UPDATES. There our phones and we like them OUR WAY.
I'm 8.1.2 on iPhone 6 and all is well here with LOCKINFO😉👍

It looks like $1.99 paid upgrade for anyone who had purchased LockInfo prior to July 1, 2014.

Working fine. Had to disable a couple of tweaks, but all good now.

Works fine on my 8.1.2 iPhone 6+. Had to pay the $1.99 upgrade fee, but NBD. I've had previous versions of LockInfo, and after upgrading to this version, I feel like it's "just ok". Not as impressive as prior versions, IMO. I like Eyepopper's suggestion of changing the GUI similar to passbook, that'd really look slick.

I have to remove subtle lock for lockinfo to work properly.

I'm really glad to have this back!

I've had lockinfo since the first version and i still love it! I have it now since the second beta-release and all is working fine! Subtle GUI tweaks every time, but the main reason for me having this, remains the tweakability and the incredible handyness of having all info on the lockscreen!! Worth every penny!

I can't use the Skip Back, Pause or Skip Forward buttons from the lock screen when my music is playing now. Volume works fine. Does this happen to anyone else?

Also, when I go to configure the Notification Center widgets, the screen is blank. I can't change or add any widgets. Then the springboard crashes.

I've been using the beta for a while now and I must say, David Ashman is an awesome person that has made this tweak look amazing. If you have issues with it, send them his way, he works really hard and will try to help as best as he can. A lot of issues can be resolved yourself though. You can enable and disable just about anything you want on the lock screen. It's been well integrated into iOS so a lot of stuff isn't found in the tweak settings, but the notification center settings of iOS. Thanks David!
