Default 'StickerMe' Lets You Use Facebook Messenger Stickers in Apple's Messages App

If you like using Stickers in the Facebook Messenger application and just wish you could use one of the stickers you know and love from the Facebook Messenger application inside of your iOS Messages application, then we've got a really awesome jailbreak tweak to show you!

StickerMe by iOS developer Alexandru Laurus allows you to send Facebook Messenger stickers using your Messages application in iOS, as shown above. It doesn't matter if you're sending SMS or iMessage; you will have a new button to the left of the microphone button that allows you to pick the sticker that you want to send.

There is only one major caveat to this tweak you must have the Facebook Messenger application installed on your device and you must be signed into it to use the Facebook Messenger stickers in the Messages application. This is because rather than tapping into the unlawful practice of copyright infringement and providing his own copies of the Facebook Messenger stickers, the developer has chosen a much more morally correct way to do things; sourcing the stickers directly to your Messages application from the Facebook Messenger application itself.

While both are installed, you will need to open the Facebook Messenger application, and its stickers, at least once after installing this jailbreak tweak. Once you do, your Messages application will be automatically terminated from the App Switcher so that it can restart with its new functionality.

The tweak adds a preference pane to the Settings application where you can enable or disable the tweak on demand, as well as enable or disable allowing the jailbreak tweak to automatically terminate the Messages application after you follow the aforementioned step of launching Facebook Messenger:

Overall, it's a cool new way to communicate with your friends in the iOS 8 Messages application if you're bored with the basic Emoji and wish you could send them something they can't send to you. StickerMe is available in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now for $1.49. The tweak requires an iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 8 and does not yet work on the iPad.

    Yes they can.

The same can be done in the Facebook Messenger application by taking a screenshot and then cropping it to the size of the sticker. Then it can be sent anywhere that image files are accepted.

    It only works for iMessages..

I also noticed it doesn't work for animated stickers.. They show up in your side of the message but the person who receives it can't open them.
