In this post, we're going to take you through five great free games and applications for iOS from the App Store to help keep you the loop of some neat free games and applications – and hey; feel free to download them and give them a try!

If you missed our previous Five Great Free Apps and Games for iOS, you can head over to this link to read our January 22nd edition.

We are jumping the gun this week with this post a couple of days early on the forums, but it will be timed to be posted on the front page for Thursday as usual .

    1. Swinging Stupendo

First on our list this week is a new free game called Swinging Stupendo. In this game, you are tasked with guiding the rag doll character as far as you possibly can without running into obstacles and losing. The game includes its own physics engine to give you as much of a life-like experience as possible. All you have to do to move from one spot to another is tap, and there will be new challenges for you to conquer as you play. Check it out!

You can download Swinging Stupendo for free from this App Store link.

    2. Skyward

It's also hard for us not to recommend Skyward, which is a cool game that will test your patience and timing. This is a simple tap-to-play game. Your goal is to guide your dot up the walkway as quickly as possible. Your dot will do circles around the dot already sitting on the walkway, and your job is to time the dot perfectly with when it hovers over the walkway, which is when you need to tap. You will then have to keep going until you reach the finish line. Check it out!

You can download Skyward for free from this App Store link.

    3. Pinna - Unicycle for your nerves

This one will keep you trying again and again -- Pinna - Unicycle for your nerves is a fun new physics game in which you need to try and keep the unicycle balanced for as long as you possibly can while you attempt to move as far as you can. You balance by tapping on either the left side or right side of the unicycle to move forward and back. It's easy to learn and includes Game Center leaderboards so that you can challenge your friends. Check it out!

    4. Spherik

Also don't forget to check out Spherik. This game is a simple patience-testing game where you have to tap your way to the center of the rotating circles. You can't touch any of the white circles with your black circle -- that is the only rule. If you do, then it's game over and you have to start over again. Check it out!

You can download Spherik for free from this App Store link.

    5. Rocket Cars

Last, but definitely not least on our list this week, we're recommending Rocket Cars. Rocket Cars is an addictive racing game with well-thought-out graphics that puts you through more than 67 fun levels to race in. You can perform tricks, customize and choose your vehicle, and play in many different game modes depending on your tastes. Best of all, it's really simple to play with its one-finger controls. Check it out!

Stupendo 3/5. Quickly repetitive and too hard to figure out. Slightly less annoying than flappy bird, but not as fun.

Rocket Cars 3.5/5. Fun concept, but what's with those controls??

    Just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!
