Default 'ShowSongMetadata' Allows You to View Song Metadata from the iOS Music App

So get the most out of your Music application, try out a new free jailbreak tweak called ShowSongMetadata by iOS developer kyewei.

This tweak will allow you to see the metadata of any of the songs you have in your media library. Some of the information that you can obtain by looking at the metadata of a song on your iOS device includes:

    • The title
    • The artist
    • The album artist
    • The composer
    • The genre
    • The year
    • The release data
    • Andy comments on the song file
    • The play count
    • The skip count
    • The plays since your last iTunes sync
    • The skips since your last iTunes sync
    • The last time the song was played

As you can see from the screenshots above, the tweak adds an "i" button to the right side of every song that you tan tap on to reveal a pop-up that displays all of this information for you. Any of the information that isn't included for the song shows a value of "null." Everything that has something to show will be displayed.

If you're interested in giving ShowSongMetadata a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository and supports both iOS 7 and iOS 8. There are no options to configure.
