Default 'CopyCurrentPlaying' Uses Activator to Copy Info On the Song Playing to the Clipboard

CopyCurrentPlaying is a new free jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Vasu Chawla that integrates with Ryan Petrich's famous Activator jailbreak application to give you the ability to copy information about the currently-playing media to your clipboard.

The idea behind this concept is to give you the ability to quickly input information about your song or movie that's playing. For example, if you are typing a message to someone in your favorite messenger application and you want to let them know what you're listening to, this tweak lets you easily put information about the song or movie that's playing in the clipboard where you can then easily paste it into the text field of the messenger application you're using.

Obviously, this isn't the only use. There are a variety of different niches of uses that this tweak could be handy for, but only for those that actually listen to music and watch movies often on their device.

CopyCurrentPlaying adds a preferences pane the Settings application where you can configure the tweak's string format, enable or disable a confirmation alert, and you can even configure an Activator action that you'll use for CopyCurrentPlaying from the Activator preferences pane (also in the Settings application):

CopyCurrentPlaying is definitely one of those tweaks that will be hit or miss in terms of necessity. Fortunately though, the developer notes that the tweak is open source, so you are free to view the tweak's source code on GitHub at this link. Keep in mind, the tweak is only compatible with iOS 7 and iOS 8.

Reminds me of windows live messenger's now playing feature. I'd definitely use this if it could somehow update my Skype status automatically.
