Default Best Jailbreak Tweaks of the Week - January 18th Edition

This recap will go over the best jailbreak tweaks that we've shown you this week. It's certainly not all of them, but we think these are some of the most worthy of recognition out of what we have been able to show you this week. These are in no specific order, and they're all compatible with the TaiG version 1.2.0 jailbreak for iOS 8.

    1. CacheCleaner – FREE

First on our list this week is a tweak released by Ryan Petrich on his beta repository called CacheCleaner. This tweak adds a new button to the information for each application under the Usage settings in the Settings application that allows you to clear that specific application's cache from the device. This is useful for applications with rapidly-growing caches that take up valuable storage space, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and many other applications that render a large amount of images. You can read our full review on CacheCleaner, as well as how to download it, at this link.

    2. SphereView – $3.99

Another one we want to show you for a second time this week is SphereView. Now, this tweak isn't necessarily on the useful side of things, but it's a really cool and smoothly-working proof-of-concept tweak that makes your Home Screen into a rotatable and zoomable sphere instead of just flat pages of application icons. The tweak also allows you to have a dock on the bottom of the screen that shows applications with pending notifications. It's definitely cool to check out, but like we noted, not really a good tweak for 'everyday use.' Check it out at this link!

    3. Sleeper – 99

Sleeper is an awesome new jailbreak tweak that lets you edit the amount of snooze time that you'll get when you snooze an alarm. The tweak integrates with the stock Clock application interface so that you can set a custom snooze time in hours, minutes, and even seconds. The default iOS snooze time with 9 minutes, but if you want more or less snooze time, then this is the tweak to use! You can read our full review of Sleeper at this link.

    4. Wallmart – FREE

Another one of those cool jailbreak tweak that can completely change your iOS experience is a new one called Wallmart. This tweak will make sure that you have a different wallpaper each time your device is unlocked. You can set a special album just for this purpose so that you have control over the images that will be used as wallpapers, and then this tweak will cycle through them. Best of all, it's completely free. This is a great way to keep your device feeling different every time you use it so that it's not the boring 'same-old, same old' device. You can read our full review of Wallmart at this link.

    5. SwitcherDND – FREE

If you would rather use your ringer/silent switch as a Do Not Disturb toggle than a ringer/silent switch, then a new free jailbreak tweak called SwitcherDND is your friend! This tweak will replace the default functionality so that Do Not Disturb is enabled when you use the switch. You can then disable Do Not Disturb by placing the switch in the other position when you're done. It works great for meetings and classes in school, and it's completely free. You can read our full review on SwitcherDND at this link.

    6. Tintch – FREE

The final tweak that we found noteworthy enough for a second mention on ModMyi this week is Tintch. This tweak allows you to set custom colors for your toggle switches throughout iOS. The tweak lets you use RGB sliders, as well as a color picker, to get the best color choice you can get. It applies to the outline of the toggle switch, as well as the enabled status of the switch. It's a nice subtle change that can make all the difference in your personalization of your device. You can check out our full review of Tintch at this link.

In the SphereView review, there's 2 pics. The globe looking one, I reckon that's the default setting. The 2nd pic, it's laid out. How do I put it on that feature? I can't seem to find the option for it.

Using two fingers, spread to expand the sphere and pinch to size or return to normal size. It will not increase the icon size though. It only makes the sphere less dense
