Default Xiaomi Does Not Want Anyone Purchasing Copied Devices

It has been reported that Apple’s competitor and copier Xiaomi, has warned its consumers not to purchase Xiaomi knockoff devices in China. The report comes from Cult of Mac, and it stated that the number of copycat devices have increased recently due to the company’s popular flagship device. Ironically, Xiaomi is the company that copies Apple products yet they’re telling others not to purchase knockoff devices. Xiaomi has definitely been reported as a company on the rise with the increased amount of sales in the last few quarters.

Although in the U.S. the company is recognized as a direct rip-off of Apple products, China recognizes the company as a tech giant. It was noted that a lot of people are not only counterfeiting Xiaomi devices with their logo and designs, but are also opening up Xiaomi stores that are fake. This became such a problem that Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO, took to social media platforms to announce that they currently do not have retail locations and all devices are being sold online only. It was even noted that the fake retail stores have branded uniforms and Xiaomi logos as well.

Be careful where you purchase your products as many people are trying to counterfeit any items that are successful.

    When you buy a knock-off of a knock-off, you are buying a real knock-off.

Just a personal opinion here, it looks a lot more like a rip off of the Moto x than the iPhone....
