Default How to Edit the Contents of the Text in Your Clipboard in iOS

Whenever you copy or cut stuff in iOS, it is stored in your memory in your device in something called the clipboard. This is the place where your device gets text, photos, and other content from when you tap on the "Paste" button in iOS.

If you've ever wanted to make an edit to your clipboard before you actually pasted it somewhere, then a new free jailbreak tweak called EditPasteboard by iOS developer Jake Januzelli may be of interest to you.

EditPasteboard integrates with Activator so that you can open a pop-up box that displays the current contents of your clipboard. From the pop-up, you're free to modify the contents of your clipboard so that the next time you tap on the "Paste" button from the iOS editing menu, the edited contents will be pasted instead of the contents that you had before you edited them.

This can be handy if you just copied or cut something that you know has a typo in it and you want to quickly fix that before you go pasting it into important e-mails or text messages.

Best of all EditPasteboard is completely free of charge in Cydia's BigBoss repository and it's dead-simple to use. There are no options to configure apart from configuring the tweak's Activator action that you want to use via the Activator preferences pane:

If you want to give EditPasteboard a try, it's available for free right now. iOS 8 and Activator are required to use this tweak.

This seems like a pretty solid idea. I'll be giving it a shot.
