On Tuesday, the Facebook-owned Instagram photo and video sharing social network updated its application for the iOS platform. Version 6.4.0 of the application can now be had from Apple's App Store.

In this new update, Instagram is far from just fixing bugs like it has in many of its recent updates. Instead, the social network is making improvements to its photograph filters within the application.

The update brings five all-new photograph filters: Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden and Perpetua. The application also now allows you rearrange your photography filters so that they appear in any order that you choose, which is especially useful for putting your favorite ones first so that you don't have to go digging for them every time you want to use them.

Existing users of the Instagram application for iOS will find this update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of the Instagram application for iOS for free from this App Store link.
