On Monday, Dropbox released an update for its iOS application. Version 3.6 of the application, coming in at 51.8MB has been released with a variety of improvements.

Among the most notable of the new improvements is the ability to now re-name files right from the iOS application, which normally could only be done on a computer if you were an iOS user. The update also gives users more features for folders in the Dropbox application when they swipe to the right on the folder, including the ability to rename them.

Other improvements in the iOS application include some tweaks to the interface including a new "..." more actions button where you can view the full name of a file, the file size, and more attributes of the file. Dropbox has also officially announced the roll-out of the ability to edit Office documents via the mobile application in this update.

If you're an existing user of Dropbox for iOS, then this update is available in the App Store application under the Updates tab. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Dropbox for free from this App Store link.
