So many people are convinced that 8.1 problems are bugs, the only "bugs" are the out of control notifications, its worse than Android, I just turned off everything except alarms lol I have no reason to be "bugged" by ads or FB posts, I will check when I have time!

Intermittent double sounds and double vibrations for an email is a bug. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. This has never happened to me until I got my iPhone 6. From what I've read it started with iOS 8.

Check the links I posted, I'm not the only one. Maybe there's only certain email configurations that do it...not sure.

People are two quick to blame a setting of an app as a bug,

Main bugs I worry about is: battery drain, WiFi and Cell connectivity, So far 8.1 been fine here

I hope you're not referring to the bug that I've been referencing. I posted links to threads of other people having the same problems as me. If it was a setting it wouldn't randomly do it. If you know the setting to stop random double vibrations and double sound notifications when I receive an email I'd LOVE to hear it. Maybe you should post your "fix" in the threads I posted. There are pages of people complaining about the same thing. I've been using and jailbreaking iPhones since the first generations. I know iOS fairly well.

Here are the links to the threads explaining the problem I'm having....

I've actually just been experiencing my first 8.1bug. Touch assistant will randomly stop about 3x further away from the edge of the screen as normal... Kinda obscure and unobtrusive, but still existent.

I used WinXP w/ SP3. That's pretty ancient! Are you using something older than that?!?!

My loop has always been, DFU upgrade to target IOS version, restore from backup, then jailbreak. Hasn't failed me yet.

What about iCloud restore? I did that on 7.1.2 with zero bugs or issues.

Worked for me also, just waiting for all my favorite jailbreak apps to be updated

Personally I'd have been fine waiting 7 months for the Dev Team to come out with a Jailbreak, they'd have used that time to work out most of the bugs than release it after only one month and have us have to deal with the bugs.. I know I won't be wasting my time wrecking my phone with the many headaches that are associated with this premature jailbreak..
