On Tuesday, the popular Vine short video-sharing application by Twitter was updated to version 3.0.0. The update adds official support for the retina HD displays of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, in addition to improved support for iOS 8.

With the additional support for iOS 8, Vine is introducing a new share extension that allows you to share videos from your Camera Roll even easier than ever before. To enable it, you can go to any share menu and toggle on "Vine" from the list of third-party application extensions:

Also new in this Vine update is the ability to follow channels by tapping on a new "+" button on any Vine channel in order to get featured posts from that channel in your Vine video feed.

Existing users of Vine will be able to update to the latest version of Vine from the Updates tab in the App Store application. For those that want to download Vine for the first time and start using it, creating an account is easy; you can download the application for free from this App Store link.
