Default 'NoWallpaperZoomAnimation' Disables the Lock Screen Wallpaper Zoom Effect in iOS 7

On some iOS 7 devices, when you wake them up using the sleep/wake button, the wallpaper on the Lock Screen will appear to "zoom in" with a special animation that Apple has programmed into the functionality of the Lock Screen.

Some of us like the animation, and others hate it; unfortunately, there is no way to disable it. Even Apple's "Reduce Motion" option in the Settings application won't disable it. Here to fix this problem is a new free jailbreak tweak called NoWallpaperZoomAnimation by iOS developer PoomSmart.

With this tweak installed, you can either disable the Lock Screen's wallpaper zoom animation outright, or you can choose to only disable it when you have the "Reduce Motion" option enabled. The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can choose what option you want to configure, as well as enable or disable the tweak outright on demand:

At this point in time, this is the best way to completely disable that Lock Screen zoom animation in iOS 7. If you want to give NoWallpaperZoomAnimation a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. iOS 7 is required to install this tweak and use it for the purpose described.
