On Wednesday, the Microsoft-owned Skype chatting, video calling, and voice calling service is rolling out an update for its iOS application with support for the new retina HD displays of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. The new version will be dubbed version 5.6.

With the support for the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus displays, one which has a PPI of 327, and the other, which has a PPI of 401, Skype for iOS now supports all of your iPhone displays whether they're 3.5-inch, 4-inch, 4.7-inch, or 5.5-inch.

If you're an existing user of the Skype application for iOS and it's already installed on your device, you can head over to the Updates tab in the App Store application to grab the update. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Skype for iOS for free from this App Store link.

Keep in mind that the update is being rolled out right now. It may take a few minutes to show up for you!
