When you're using the Camera application in iOS 7 and you leave the application and then attempt to go back into it again from the App Switcher, or the like, you will notice that you'll have to wait for a blur effect to appear and disappear before you can actually point and shoot a photograph. This can ultimately reduce reaction time and prevent you from getting the shot that you want.

A new free jailbreak tweak called CamToggleBlur by iOS developer PoomSmart aims to fix this for those of you that have a problem with the blur effect, which is shown above.

CamToggleBlur's "Blur Animation" option is easily toggled on or off from the new toggle switch, which is added to the Photos & Camera preferences pane in the Settings application:

The tweak works with many of iOS' default camera views throughout applications, and changes will take effect immediately without the need to respring. You may, however, want to kill the Camera application from the App Switcher before you open it back up again, just to be safe.

If you want to give CamToggleBlur a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. iOS 7 is required for the installation.
