On Thursday, Instagram has updated its newly-released Hyperlapse application for the iOS platform. The application allows you to take time-lapse videos using Instagram's in-house image stabilization and then speed it up by up to 12 times the real time.

Thursday's update, which brings the application up to version 1.1, adds official support for the larger displays on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, as well as some additional bug fixes and improvements for making the application run smoother on iOS 8 so that the application would be more reliable for users.

In addition, the update makes it so that you can take selfie-lapses, or time lapse videos using the front-facing camera. This ought to be interesting...

If you're an existing user of the Hyperlapse application by Instagram, you can download this free update from the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of Hyperlapse for free from this App Store link.
