Just a couple of weeks ago, we had showed you a new jailbreak tweak called SpeedMaster by iOS developer Moonwolf that could speed up the animations and graphics of applications and games in iOS 7 to make the overall experience seem faster to the user.

The jailbreak tweak was paid, and now the developer has just released SpeedMasterFree in Cydia, a free version of the jailbreak tweak that is ad-supported.

SpeedMasterFree will add an application icon to your Home Screen where you can turn on the feature for individual games and applications with on/off switches. When you turn an application on, and then visit that application, you will see a new gear button in the Interface that will allow you to speed up or slow down the animations in that application with a '+' or '-' button, as shown above.

The developer notes that the tweak will work with most applications, such as those using cocos2d, cocos2d-x, or SprintKit, etc, but the tweak won't work with all applications more support will come in the future.

If you want to give SpeedMasterFree a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository.
