Default 'StatusBarTimer' Will Show Any Timers You Have in the Status Bar in Real Time

If you use the timer feature on your iOS 7 device frequently, then a new free jailbreak tweak called StatusBarTimer by iOS developer Ludvig Eriksson could be a handy new addition to your device.

StatusBarTimer will make it so that whenever you have an active timer going, it will display in your Status Bar to the right of the current time. Best of all, the timer will update in real time every second, so that you don't miss a beat.

This tweak is great for those that are multi-tasking while they have a timer going, because instead of having to constantly check back with the Clock application to see how your timer is doing, you can simply see the status of your timer from your Status Bar while you're in the middle of doing things such as checking your Facebook feed, browsing the Internet, or text messaging a friend.

StatusBarTimer adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure a separator that will appear between the current time and the timer in the Status Bar (we've just used a simple dash):

You can use almost anything you want, since you get a keyboard when you tap on the text field. You will have to tap on the Save button to save your changes so that they take effect.

StatusBarTimer will force your current time to display in 24-hour format, so this is one downfall to the tweak for those that prefer the typical 12-hour clock.

If you want to give StatusBarTimer a try, it's available for free right now in Cydia's BigBoss repository. iOS 7 is required for the installation.

Doesn't work if you have any other tweaks installed such as StatusForecast.
